Latter & Blum Property Management is the property management arm of Latter & Blum, the oldest and most successful full-service real estate company in the Gulf South.

Founded in 1916 by Harry Latter & Joseph Blum, Latter & Blum was operated by the families of the founders until 1986, when Robert W. Merrick, a nationally respected broker, developer and valuation expert purchased the company.

Latter & Blum made a dramatic move toward regionalization in 1995 when it purchased C. J. Brown Realtors, C.J. Brown Property Management (founded in 1917) and Johnson Properties, Inc.

The acquisitions of C.J. Brown Property Management and Johnson Properties Inc. solidified the company’s position as the largest third-party management company in the state of Louisiana and made Latter & Blum the 34th largest real estate company in the nation, as identified by Real Trends Top 500 Survey for 2007.
